SummerSlam 2017 Predictions

The biggest party of the Summer is this Sunday and I am back with another batch of predictions to see who is going to be winning and losing and the possible in-betweens that may occur.

Possible Match:

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: The Miz (C) v Jason Jordon: Currently unsure about this match will even take place since that there hasn’t been any confirmation as of yet and if it does happen I think that I may as well try to predict this match. I think that this match could see Jason going over The Miz through a possible DQ with the Miz-tourage getting involved which would then lead to a rematch the next night on Raw. Or the more realistic matchup is that there is going to be a  6-Man match with Jordon teaming up with The Hardy’s to face the Miz-tourage where in this I will see Jordon and The Hardy’s going over.

Randy Orton v Rusev: So, with Rusev getting beaten by John Cena in a rather disappointing match and Orton losing another disappointing match with Jinder Mahal, I think that this is going to be a bit of a underrated match since that these two can put on good matches and I hope that this can be a good match, but since there doesn’t seem to be much of a good result in the future for them. But I do think that Rusev can get the win since that Orton already has had a good year and can still deal with the losses. Winner: Rusev

Big Cass v Big Show (Enzo Amore is in a Shark Cage): I am pretty sure that WWE is using the shark cage gimmick rather too much since that this is the third time in a year since they used it, but this time it is used for a different reason. With the other matches, it was used to keep somebody out from interfering, this time it is there to force somebody to watch the supposed beating of Big Show by Big Cass. I think that this is going to be one of the less interesting matches of the show since that this seems like it should have been a feud that is already over with, but I’m guessing that they still don’t know what to do with either Cass or Enzo since the split happened and I think that Cass will get the win since that Show can eat a loss. However, I think that this match is going to end with Enzo somehow getting over Cass to end the feud once and forever. Winner: Big Cass

John Cena v Baron Corbin: This match pretty much came out of the aftermath of SmackDown when Corbin attacked Shinsuke Nakamura and I think that now it is going to be less exciting since that Corbin had now cashed in his MITB Contract and this I think that Corbin is going to win his match. If Corbin still had his contract he could have easily have eaten the loss and he can then get the win at the end of the night cashing in against Mahal/Nakamura. But since that there is also news that John Cena is putting his acting career ahead of his dwindling wrestling career means that he could be easily eat a defeat and when he comes back he will most likely get a championship shot. Winner: Baron Corbin

‘The Demon’ Finn Balor v Bray Wyatt: This has been a weird feud of mind games and the after math from this week’s Raw it just got even weirder as they had a match, in which Wyatt won and then during the commercial break Wyatt then went to pour ‘acid’ or ‘paint’ over Balor which then caused something to happen where Balor says that the Demon is coming back and this is going to be the match that Balor will win since that Wyatt can still eat losses and will be able to get wins later this year, but I do think that Balor will be in the Universal Championship picture. Winner: Finn Balor

WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match: Akira Tozawa (w/ Titus O’Neil) (C) v: Neville: So, I had to re-write this section since that on the Raw before SummerSlam, Titus O’Neil campaigned for the Tozawa to get his title shot early, and he managed to win it from Neville. But I think that Neville is going to get the win for this match since that he does seem to have the urge to get the title back means that he is going to do whatever he can to the win. Winner: Neville

WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match: The New Day (C) v The Usos: One of the problems that I currently have seen in SmackDown for the past few weeks and that is SmackDown’s tag team division isn’t as good as what it was and one of the main facts is that it just seems to be focused around these two teams. Hopefully this will be the last time that we see these teams fight each other for the next few months since that it is getting rather stale and it currently is stale, for me at least. I think that New Day are going to win this with the fact that they have done wonders for the Tag Team division on Raw and since that it took them a while to get onto SmackDown I would like to see their reign take them to at least Royal Rumble or WrestleMania. Winner: The New Day

WWE Raw Tag Team Championship Match: Sheamus/Cesaro (C) v Seth Rollins/Dean Ambrose: This also has been another weird feud that started off with Ambrose dealing with The Miz and Rollins coming out to help Ambrose and Ambrose not trusting Rollins for a few weeks and the feud then was re-shifted towards them forming an unlikely alliance when they were put into the Tag Title scene since that the Raw scene has been hampered again with one team succumbing to injury, again. I think that Rollins and Ambrose are going to get the win here but I don’t think that they are going to get the titles yet and that Sheamus and Cesaro are going to get either DQ’d or walk away. Winner: Rollins/Ambrose via DQ/ Count Out

WWE Untied States Championship Match: AJ Styles (C) v Kevin Owens (Special Guest Ref Shane McMahon): After the rather dodgy end of their match that they had at Battleground where we saw a rather confusing sequence where a Ref bump seemed to be overdone. Then during the rematch on the following SmackDown another Ref bump this time proved rather useful as I think that the original plan from Battleground was and Styles won the title back from Owens, but this caused Owens to complain to the Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon where Bryan decides to anoint Shane as the special guest Ref since that all the other refs kept getting knocked down. But I have a feeling that there is going to be another Ref bump that will see some sort of hijinks that will change the match, but I think that Styles will retain the championship that will then see he re-issue the open challenge on SmackDown. Winner: AJ Styles

WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: Naomi (C) v Natalya: Well this sure was a rather weird matchup. At Battleground Natalya won the no.1 contenders match, which I think shocked a lot of people including myself, since that I thought that Charlotte would have won it since that was a match up that Naomi would have liked to have had since that she was asked a question on Talking Smack. Hopefully this will be a good match, but I think that it isn’t going to be one of the highlights of the night since I think that it could be changed into a triple threat match since that Carmella still has her MITB Contract, which she can cash in at any time and I think that this would be an opportune moment since that it would give a lot of heel heat towards Carmella, plus it would give a good match between Carmella and Naomi at the following PPV. But A part of me thinks that it is going to be another distraction by Carmella that will cause Natalya to lose but this then causes Natalya to attack Naomi and Carmella cashes in. Winner: Naomi/Carmella (Cash In)

WWE Raw Women’s Championship Match: Alexa Bliss (C) v Sasha Banks: Originally supposed to be facing Bailey but due to a possible botched move that caused an injury and the match had to be rearranged with two triple threat matches and that lead Sasha Banks to face off against Bliss for the title at SummerSlam and I think that she is going to get the win against her which I think it is going to get Sasha to start her heel turn which will then lead her to have a match with Bailey most likely at Survivor Series for their main blow off. Winner: Sasha Banks

WWE Championship Match: Jinder Mahal (C) (w/ The Singh Brothers) v Shinsuke Nakamura: So far, this year it has really shocked me with the winners of the WWE Championship with Bray Wyatt and Jinder holding them, but I think that Jinder has done a better job with it than what Bray did. I think that this match is going to have a lot of hijinks since that not only does Mahal have the Singh Brothers at his back, but they could be expelled at the beginning of the match, but he also does have a 7ft monster in the form of the Great Khali, but he hasn’t been seen since the end of Battleground PPV last month. I do however think that Nakamura is going to win this match since that I do see him holding the title to at least Survivor Series or Royal Rumble for possible plans to have him and AJ Style to fight at next year’s WrestleMania. Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura

WWE Universal Championship Fatal Four Way Match: Brock Lesnar (C) (w/ Paul Hayman) v Roman Reigns v Samoa Joe v Braun Strowman: This match could be rather unpredictable since that there are only three possibilities on who is going to win the title since that I do think that Lesnar is going to be dropping the belt, but I don’t think that he is going to be pinned to lose the title. So, since that I think that Lesnar is going to be out of the picture I think that it is going to go down to either Reigns or Joe since that I think that they are going to be going into a feud between the two of them for the next Raw PPV. But if I had to go with an actual pick I think that it is going to be Joe since that he seems to be a more likely choice. Winner: Samoa Joe

WrestleMania 33 Predictions

So, this year’s WrestleMania just seems to be rather O.K

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle RoyalAndre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal: This battle royal so far has been more and more of a good stepping stone for the past winner (minus when Big Show won but who cares). But this years I think could be up to anybody from Raw, SmackDown or possibly even NXT and the winner of this will have a pretty good year. Winner: Braun Strowman/ Mojo Rowley

WWE Championship MatchWWE Championship Match: Bray Wyatt (C) v Randy Orton: So the build-up for this match has been a giant cluster-fuck for a lot of reasons. The first is AJ Styles getting screwed out of the main event after beating Luke Harper in a number one contenders match but then had to fight Orton in another match. But getting onto the match in general this match was pretty predictable for the build up with Orton turning his back on Wyatt but he went to some extremes. The major extreme is Orton BURNING DOWN THE WYATT COMPOUND, yet no kayfabe reason was brought up to get him into trouble. But for the match in general I think that it could be good but I think that the ending is going to favour Wyatt and gives him the win and it doesn’t make him seem like a transitional champion. Winner: Bray Wyatt.

Universal Championship MatchWWE Universal Championship Match: Goldberg (C) v Brock Lesner: Oh, boy this seems like it’s going to go be a pretty boring match since that their previous matches really haven’t been all that great honestly. Their match at Mania 20 was boring and their match at Survivor Series was… quick and I really don’t see this match being a masterpiece but if I had to pick a winner I’m going with the person that is going to be there ‘longer’ and that is Lesner since that it looks like that he is going to be there longer competing than Goldberg unless his contract got extended. Winner: Brock Lesner.

United States Championship MatchWWE United States Championship Match: Chris Jericho (C) v Kevin Owens: Now I think that this match would have been better is it was title v title but that got nixed for the steaks for Goldberg/Lesner. This has been built up well since SummerSlam last year with Jericho and Owens being best buddies and all and I was glad that it took them longer to pull the trigger on the team that Y2AJ last year. These two are some of the best workers and I do expect a few good spots in the match and I also do think that Owens is going to win the belt off Jericho since that Owens is willing to do anything to win. That and Jericho is going on tour shortly so that could be another reason. Winner: Kevin Owens.

Raw Womens Championship MatchWWE Raw Women Championship Fatal Four Elimination Match: Bailey (C) v Sasha Banks v Charlotte v Nia Jax: Now this is quite the cluster of a match. First the match was going to be originally Bailey defending the title against Sasha since they do know how to tell a story well, looking back that their previous matches in NXT before Sasha got called up. This would have been fine but Charlotte wanted her chance to headline Mania again for the title and a triple threat would have been fine. But then Nia stepped in and won her match against Bailey and got herself into the match and made it more difficult for Bailey to retain her title and it seems that the title is in jeopardy of being hot potato again. But this time it could be something rather fun as the match has now been changed to elimination rules and that means that we defiantly going to have a better match than I originally thought. But for this I think that for eliminations it is going to be Nia to be eliminated first with a group effort, then Charlotte is next to be eliminated and leading down to Sasha and Bailey in where we could also see Sasha turn on Bailey to get the win. Winner: Sasha Banks.

Intercontinental Championship MatchWWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Dean Ambrose (C) v Baron Corbin: I’m just going to make this rather quick and predict that Corbin is going to win the title. Ambrose has held the title for a few months and I don’t think has defended it in a while, plus it is something to add to Corbin’s accomplishments since that it has been a year since he won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Winner: Baron Corbin.

Smackdown Womens Championship MatchWWE SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: Alexa Bliss (C) v The SmackDown Women’s Locker Room: So, it’s Alexa Bliss pretty much against every woman in the locker room and the better thing is that it is currently unknown on what type of match that it could be, a battle royal, gauntlet match or maybe the return of the Championship Scramble. If I had to guess there are two spots left in the match possibly since that Eva Marie has been off television for a while and there could be a chance that Naomi’s knee injury that she had a few months ago, has healed up faster than what she anticipated and that would make for a pretty good return for her as well wrestling in front of a home crowd. Winner: Alexa Bliss

Cruiserweight Championship MatchWWE Cruiserweight Championship Match: Neville (C) v Austin Aries: Now this is a match that I am looking for. I am a big fan of Austin Aries and I am glad now that he is back wrestling on the Raw and 205 Live roster and I think that this is going to be one of the best matches that he can put on since Neville is another phenomenal wrestler as well and with his new style that he has been using it is going to be a lot of fun to see this match and to see what the highflying action that Cruiserweights can pull off. Winner: Austin Aries.

Raw Tag Team Championship MatchWWE Raw Tag Team Championship Triple Threat Ladder Match: Gallows & Anderson (C) v Enzo Amore & Big Cass v Cesaro & Sheamus: The tag team scene on both shows hasn’t really been good in the past few months and I think that this match isn’t really going to do that much for Raw’s division since that it really doesn’t matter who wins the titles. But if I had to make an educated guess I think that Gallows and Anderson or Cesaro and Sheamus that could win the match since that I really Enzo and Cass don’t have that much experience when it comes to involving ladders into the equation. But I still think to some trickery I see The Club retaining their belts. Winners: Anderson & Gallows.

CenaBella v MizMaryseMix Tag Team Match: The Miz & Maryse v John Cena & Nikki Bella: Not going to lie but I do really want to see The Miz win this match. For the past few months The Miz has had a lot of better matches on SmackDown when Cena has been off doing whatever he does. The past few weeks on SmackDown the segments between the four of them have been rather well done. The Miz has brought up a lot of good points about all the bad things about Cena such as getting a title shot by returning after a brief break and how he got his girlfriend to sign a contract and that is rather bad. Winner: The Miz and Maryse.

Shane v StylesShane McMahon v AJ Styles: In all honesty this is a big step down for AJ Styles from his match that he had against Chris Jericho last year. I don’t see this being the best match on the card and I think that it would have been better if Shane was to use a proxy instead of wrestling the match would have been a lot better for me. But I think that AJ could bring Shane to have a good match since that there isn’t an added stipulation to the match since that AJ is one of the greatest wrestlers on the planet and he can get a good match out of anybody. Winner: AJ Styles

Reigns v TakerThe Undertaker v Roman Reigns: I don’t think that anybody really wanted to see this match for at least three reasons. The first is that this feud is one of the worst built for the card since that they have barley had any time together. Two, Reigns should have been going heel after his match with Braun since that there will be nobody wanting to boo Undertaker. Third is Taker should have retired after last year’s match since that he isn’t as fast as what he was and according to sources when he took the spear off Reigns he was in pain. I wish that this match would have been Cena v Taker since that we haven’t had a one-on-one match between them in over 10 years and it would have been a better passing of the torch than giving it to Reigns who is still rather green compared to his SHIELD brethren who have had experience with bigger fights. Plus, if Reigns were to win the match then they would be having a stadium full of fans booing. Winner: The Undertaker.

Rollins v Triple HNon-Sanctioned Match: Seth Rollins v Triple H: So this is going to be a fun match that I would have never thought to see since of the past few months with Rollins re-injuring his knee and putting this match into jeopardy till possibly SummerSlam. But it looks like that there has been a way by making this match into a Non-Sanctioned match which means that it will be easier for them to tell their story. I also think since that at least till now that Samoa Joe isn’t on the card he is going to interfere in the match to help Triple H but to help out Rollins I think that Finn Balor is going to return and help him win the match since that in the past few weeks on the House Shows Balor has been working in matches along with Triple H and it would be an amazing pop to see him return at Mania. Winner: Seth Rollins.

Royal Rumble 2017 Predictions

So it has been a while since I did a predictions blog for a pay-per-view for the fact I did rather give up, but this year I think that I am only going do to predictions for the big four and there’s no better way to restart than with the Royal Rumble which can be rather unpredictable sometimes.

Pre-Show:

WWE Raw Tag Team Championship Match: Cesaro/Sheamus (c) v The Club: So, with the controversial ending to their last championship match the decision was made to have two referees set to call this match. cesarosheamusvtheclubBut for the match itself I think that Cesaro and Sheamus will come out top and I think that The Club will pick them up on a future Raw to then defend them in some sort of multi-team match for WrestleMania. For the match I do see that the second referee is going to come into play after possibly being Brouge Kicked by accident causing some sort of turmoil, The Club will take advantage of this situation throwing one of them out of the way and try to hit the Magic Killer but it gets broken up and Cesaro and Sheamus hit their finishers. But a small part of this thinks that it is going to be a draw with both teams getting a pin on each other the referees counting both falls.  Winners Cesaro/Sheamus

Sasha Banks v Nia Jax: I think that this could be a rather upset of a match with Nia being a dominate force controlling most of the match, but Sasha will make a comeback and getting her off her feet, but I do think that Nia is going to win the match by powering out of the Banks Statement. Winner Nia Jax

Main Card:

Six Woman Tag Match: Becky Lynch, Naomi and Nikki Bella v Alexa Bliss, Mickie James and Natalya: 6womantagmatchSo this match pretty much just came up out of two actual rivalries that have been happening on SmackDown Live! and just bringing in Naomi since she just returned to TV after being off (I believe that it was filming for a movie or it could have been a minor injury) but it does seem rather pointless, but I think that is due to the rather lack of women wrestlers on both brands. I think that this is going to be a quick win for the face team and the rest of the story points will be done on the rest of SmackDown Live! heading to the next PPV. Winners: Becky, Naomi and Nikki

WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match: Rich Swann (c) v Neville:swannvneville I did think that this match would have been on the pre-show but it isn’t, go figure. The current Cruiserweight division is still rather fresh and I think that the rivalry between these two has been rather well told since that unlike the stories that have been told on Raw that they get two shows to develop their story. Plus, it has been awesome to see Neville in this new heel persona and I think that he can win it since that he is pretty much doing anything to win a match and make himself a dominate wrestler. Rich Swann is a good wrester as well and I think is time as champion is over, I think that Neville will win since that he has had a rather underwhelming last year since he spent most of it on the shelf with a injury. Winner: Neville

WWE Raw Women’s Championship Match: Charlotte Flair (c) v Bayley:charlottevbailey I don’t think that Bayley is going to win the title at the Rumble, I don’t think that she is going to win it at Raw, I don’t even think that he is going to win the title a Elimination Chamber but I do think that she is going to win the title at WrestleMania. I do think that this match is going to have a rather screw-job finish with either interference from Dana Brooke, who I’m sure that we have never seen on TV since she was the special guest referee in their last title match or maybe Stephine gets involved in the match again costing Bayley the match. Winner: Charlotte Flair

WWE Championship Match: AJ Styles (c) v John Cena:stylesvcena I am not going to lie, I really don’t care that much about John Cena, mainly for the fact that he decides the reason why he didn’t like The Rock coming back in for being a part-timer which is what Cena has pretty much become. Also, the second thing that I do find annoying is that Cena comes back from filming whatever he was doing and automatically gets a title shot, overpassing people who have more of a claim to become the number one contender but nope he back so he deserves a match. It does really annoy me and I really don’t think that he is going to get the win here and that Styles is going to beat him in two ways. The first being cleanly like their match at SummerSlam and the second way either by DQ or count out and retain the title that way. I think the only way that I think that Cena would win would be at WrestleMania in some sort of triple threat match.  But I think that Styles is going to retain the title and then possibly loose it at Elimination Chamber. Winner: AJ Styles

WWE Universal Championship No Disqualification Match: Kevin Owens (c) v Roman Reigns: owensvreignsSo, this could be harder to predict since that before going into this match I would have had Kevin Owens down to retain since that the match was going in the Reigns was United States Champion but he now doesn’t have that it could go either way. But with Reigns now without a belt could see himself with a new belt since that after his rematch he got screwed by winning by DQ and since that this match is no DQ there could be a chance that the odds are move even. Even more so since that Owens partner in crime, Chris Jericho, will have a hard time to get involved in the match since that he is going to be inside a shark cage above the ring. But I think that Owens is going to win because I think that Jericho is going to have something that he will drop to Owens to help him win the match. Winner: Kevin Owens

2017 Royal Rumble Match: The Royal Rumble match is something that can be rather unpredictable, for instance I didn’t think that Triple H would have returned last year to win the WWE Championship but he did. So, for this year I am going to try and be more unpredictable covering the winner and any surprise entrants since that is one of the highlights of the Rumble, that and Kofi Kingston’s amazing ways to avoid elimination. First, I will cover the people that will be surprises. My first surprise pick will be the first inductee for this year’s Hall of Fame, Kurt Angle, the reason why I say this is that I don’t know what his contract is going to be like since that the WWE scheduling is more longer than what he was when he was in TNA, but there could be a chance that he tries to arrange a deal that Brock Lesnar has currently when he works and X amount of days for the company over the year. But it would be really cool for a live audience to just pop when they hear his theme music and then the ‘You Suck’ chants. My second surprise pick is Samoa Joe for the main fact that he hasn’t been seen on NXT since the replays that they did for the Australia tour when he faced off against Shinsuke Nakamura in a rematch for the NXT title. Plus, the fact this would make him a free agent and SmackDown need some big players. My third pick is Seth Rollins which would be a weird thing since that he isn’t in the Rumble Match anymore and I think that two things are going to happen. One is that Rollins is going to take out somebody and take their place (like Mick Foley in 2004 Rumble). The second theory is that he will get a second chance to get in by beating somebody that could be on the pre-show or the very first match. Going on to the winner I think that it is going to be rather tough choice. I think that for the final four it’s going to be Rollins, Joe, Undertaker and Baron Corbin but I think that Rollins isn’t going to win it because Triple H will screw him out of it continuing their weird feud that keeps going stopping and starting. I think that Undertaker will win it so that he can have one final run with the championship so that he can then end up retiring later this year or next year. Winner: The Undertaker

Money In The Bank 2016 Predictions

MITB2016So we are half way through the year and coming up to the event that can change the course of a wrestler if they can win the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Also sorry for not having one up for Extreme Rules I was busy with other projects at the time.

Pre Show: Baron Corbin v Dolph Ziggler: What did we do so wrong WWE that you keep pushing this rivalry down our throats? WE DO NOT WANT THIS TO GO ON. It has been rather pointless and just to get it out of the way I think that Corbin is going to win and hopefully we will never see these guys wrestle again.

Apollo Crews v Sheamus: Out of these two stories that are going on in the pre show this one does seem to be a lot better told and to make it quick I am going to say that Crews is going to get the win for this match.

Main Card: Tag Team Women’s Match: Charlotte and Dana Brooke v Natalya and Becky Lynch: So this could be rather interesting match since the aftermath of Raw where Brooke accidently screwed Charlotte by rolling her into the ring and instantly into Paige pinning Charlotte. Even though it seems that Natalya and Becky seem to have the advantage over Charlotte and Brooke but I think that they may have something in their back pocket. I think that there could be another member of the Horsewomen stable that they are building, but to give a name I would have no idea. For the win will go to Charlotte and Brooke with outside interference.

United States Championship Match: Rusev (C) with Lana v Titus O’Neil: From being suspended for 60 days who would ever thought that Titus O’Neil would be in a title picture because I sure didn’t. I think that this has been a well built up with O’Neil coming in after the rematch that Rusev had with Kalisto after Smackdown by making the save and putting himself in the title picture. Comparing this rivalry to the rivalry for the World Heavyweight Championship this one is better structured and written than the main event and I think that fans can agree with this. Even though that Rusev is a strong wrestler I do think that it is turn for O’Neil to have his first singles run as a champion.

Fatal Four Way Tag Team Championship Match: The New Day v Gallows & Anderson v The Vaudevillians v Enzo and Cass: Well this could be another interesting match. You have three teams going against The New Day this could be the chance that we could see a title change. But I don’t think that they will drop the titles for a while. Tag Team FFThe New Day are pretty over with the crowd and it could look like that WWE wants them to try and beat the reign of the former longest running Tag Champions, I think it was Paul London and Brian Kendrick, so they could have the titles at least until Summer Slam or after. But if they were thinking of dropping the belts to a team I think that they would go to either The Club or Enzo and Cass. With The Club with the belts then this could start a good run for them to become NWO-esq where they come in and take over all the belts in the company was Balor comes up. Enzo and Cass are also pretty over as well with the fans and would be good to see them win the belts since that even with the chances that they had in NXT they were never able to capture the titles. But for my sure guess on who I think is going to win I am saying The New Day.

John Cena v AJ Styles: So for a long time I have always wondered what it would have been like if AJ Styles was to face off against John Cena and finally my first dream match has came true. The promo’s that they have done for this match has been pretty awesome and Styles can pull off a really good heel persona, go see his promos from TNA when he was a heel and you can see why, and he did bring up a real problem that people know about John Cena and that is he buries people. I think that this match is going to be one of the most interesting since that there could be something that could cause the match to be a bit strange. Since that Styles was given two contracts by Cena to sign, one with The Club in Styles corner and just a single match between the two of them and Styles signed the singles match. A really good theory that some fans have had is that Finn Balor could make an appearance in helping Styles get the win but I am not sure if this can happen since that he is still on tour with NXT unless that this does happen. I still think that Styles will still win any way since that he is a more experienced wrestler than what Cena is and he has changed his style a lot more.

Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Dean Ambrose v Sami Zayne v Cesaro v Kevin Owens v Chris Jericho v Alberto Del Rio: From what I remember I think that this could easily be the best MITB match that WWE has put together. We have three faces and heels in this match and everyone pretty much has history with each other. But to get something off the bat there are one person who I don’t think will be winning the match and that is Dean Ambrose and that is I think that he can be one of these wrestlers that can get as many chances at the title but can fall up short but is always a good mid-card wrestler.MITBladdermatch Yet there could seem to be a slight blunder with WWE by accidently leaking the poster for next month’s PPV with possibly spoiling it with Ambrose actually winning the match so. But there is one wrestler who I do think that can win it and that is Kevin Owens, he came up short in the ladder match at this year’s WrestleMania and I think that since he debut on the main roster last year I think that it is about time that he can have something go his way. So for my winner I am going with Kevin Owens or as a spoiler choice Ambrose.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: Roman Reigns (c) v Seth Rollins: When Rollins returned at the last PPV I was excited when he returned and beat Reigns down. But then during the build up for this match I was bored by it all. Especially the segment where Rollins was teasing if he was going to attack Reigns and it was more boring than the rivalry between Dolph and Corbin. I think that this match could be rather one sided and ends with either a Dusty finish or with the winner of the MITB match teasing a cash in and cost somebody the match. I am going to take a guess and say that Reigns is going to win but he is going to drop the title at Summer Slam.

Payback 2016: Predictions

Payback

Pre Show:

United States Championship Match: Kalisto (c) v Ryback: So in a rematch (in a way) from WrestleMania since a few weeks afterwards Ryback beat Kalisto in a non-title match means that we’re getting another match. Usually I want to root for the underdog in this match but for this time round I am actually going to side with Ryback on this point. One of the reasons that I am going to side with Ryback is because there could be a side where Kalisto could be possibly injured after the match that the Lucha Dragons had against the Dudley Boys in the Tag Team Tournament. He seemed to be injured but I don’t think that it could be serious plus with Ryback as a champion he could be put in a position where he could open up the Open Challenge which I have been missing from Raw since John Cena lost the title last year.

Main Card:

Dolph Ziggler v Baron Corbin: This seems to be a match that seemed to come pretty much out of nowhere, other than the outcome of the Post-Mania match that these two had that ended in a double count out. I really don’t care that much about this match to be honest since that there doesn’t seem much that could come out of the result of this match but for a winner I am going to say Corbin is going to win since he seems to have a bigger role to play since being a current call up.

Tag Team Match #1 Contender for the WWE Tag Team ChampionshipEnzo Amore and Colin Cassady v The Vaudevillans: Well I think that this is going to be a rather good tag team match that we could see after the rather disappointment that we got from WrestleMania. We have two rather great tag teams called up from NXT that have had good matches since being called up especially with Enzo and Cass who seemed to get over amazing well with the live crowds on Raw and Smackdown plus they even knocked off one of WWE greatest Tag Teams of all time The Dudley Boys. I have seen some of the matches from The Vaudevillains and they too are a pretty good team but I think that Enzo and Cass are going to get the win and then face off against The New Day. I have a small chance that this match could take place on the Pre Show and then having the winners fight on the main card against the New Day, but I think that the match will be on Raw the next night.

WWE Women’s Championship Match: Charlotte (c) with Ric Flair v Natalya with Bret Hart: Well I am really looking forward for this match since the fact that this is going to be something good and pretty much a rematch from NXT a few years ago. From the match that they had just on Raw I am really rooting for Natalya to win this match since that I am rather getting tired of Charlotte winning matches because of the ‘cheating’ that she has used with the help of Ric Flair since that WWE are trying to push her as the new dirtiest player in the game. This is why I am glad that Natalya revealed that her uncle Bret Hart is going to be in her corner for the match and this then does give Natalya an edge in the match for Bret to keep an eye on Flair so that he doesn’t help Charlotte to cheat. But the winner I am going with is Natalya.

Sami Zayne v Kevin Owens: Well it would eventually would have came down to this seeing Zayne face off against Owens on a main stage, which should have taken place at WrestleMania instead of that ridiculous ladder match. I am not going into that much detail with this since that anyone who knows the relationship, just in NXT between these two knows why this match ended up happening. I get the feeling that this match is going to have a lot of good spots in it, even though that this is a regular match and that we are likely to get a follow up at Extreme Rules. I am going to predict that Zayne is going to win this match.

Dean Ambrose v Chris Jericho: So this does seem that it can be a really good match since that you have a person who should have won at the last event and a person that should have lost at the last event. From what I’ve seen from Smackdown and Raw I think that this can be a well told match, they’ve had a lot of good back and forth on the mic and this could carry on well to the match. I really do want to see Ambrose win this match since I do see him as a main event attraction since he hasn’t had a large amount of PPV wins for a while since he held the United States Championship when the SHIELD was still around. I really do wish that they would use Jericho more a person to put over younger talent because I think that would be a good use of a part timer wrestler.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: The Miz (c) w/ Maryse v Cesaro: Oh boy is this not how I thought that this was going to be arranged, but before I would say who I am going to think would win I am going to say how they could have booked this better. First since that Zack Ryder lost the belt and the rematch I think that he should have went back on Raw and attacked Miz on Miz TV and then you have Maryse try and interfere in the fight then you have Emma come down and attack Maryse, that way you have a even playing field with Emma being in Zack’s corner, they could then lead down the road to the PPV and possibly have a mixed tag match, if Maryse is legitimately back to wrestle or even for one night then have a final match at Payback where Ryder would get the win and have his payback. But for this I am going to go with Cesaro for the win for this match since The Miz in my point doesn’t seem that good of a champion.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: Roman Reigns (c) v AJ Styles: Now going in to this I already have a prediction on who is going to win and that is Reigns is going to win the match. But he is going to win it non-cleanly. What I think is going to happen is that Styles is going to have the upper hand through most of the match then Gallows and Anderson are going to make an appearance. They are going to interfere in the match but they are not going to be the ones that would cost Styles the match. The lights go out and Finn Balor’s music hits and he appears behind Styles and throws up the sign. Styles throws it up to but then Balor attacks Styles and hits the 1916 on Styles and throws the gun sign over Styles. Reigns gets the cover and the match ends with Balor, Anderson and Gallows standing over Styles in the ring.

WrestleMania 32 Predictions

Well it has been two years since I started doing these predictions for WWE PPV and this could be quite a PPV that could end up going wrong, and possibly a lot of good fan reactions for the next night on Raw.

Pre Show:

8 Diva Tag Team Match: Brie Bella, Alicia Fox, Natalia, Paige and Eva Marie v Lana, Cameron, Tamina, Summer Rae and Emma: My god is this a really pointless and filler match that WWE somehow have been scrapped together. I still don’t even know the reason why there is a rivalry between Lana and Brie Bella and I really don’t even care, it just again seems like pointless filler. Faces will go over.

The Usos v The Dudley Boyz: So this didn’t seem that much of a decent rivalry since the fact that this match was originally on the main card and now has been pushed onto the pre show which really does shows how much faith that WWE currently has on this match and second that they need to have more tag teams on the main roster. This just seems to be a complete filler of a match as well as a rivalry and it just seems like another match that I don’t really care about it since that there isn’t much that I think can happen for either team after this match. Dudley Boyz for the win.

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal: So I think that this could be rather strange match since there is barely anyone left on the roster since most of the roster is either on the card or they are out injured. So in theory I don’t think that this is going to be that much of a good match. I mean you have Big Show, Kane and the Social Outcasts being the ones that have had the rather bigger push on who was in the match. However I believe that there are going to be a few surprise entrance of possible NXT talent, since there is no talent left or maybe even a returning wrestlers like Cesaro. But I think that it could be a member of the Social Outcasts or Kane that wins the match.

Main Card:

AJ Styles v Chris Jericho: So here we go with the another match between Styles and Jericho and I get the feeling, I don’t want to sound negative, I don’t think it could be good as what the previous matches are since the fact that they have been rather back and forth after Royal Rumble and they seem to know more of each other’s moves and I don’t think that it is going to be that special of a match. But there is one thing that I would like to see in this match and that is for Jericho to take a Styles Clash since for the fact that I believe that Jericho is smart enough on how to safely take the move and for it to be a pretty good highlight for AJ Styles who I think is going to get the win and hopefully will be put in a mid-card title picture.

WWE Intercontinental Championship 7 Man Ladder Match: Kevin Owens (C) v Sami Zayn v Dolph Ziggler v Stardust v The Miz v Sin Cara v Zack Ryder:                                  What a way to ruin what could have been a pretty much a good singles rivalry match between Owens and Zayn WWE by putting five other wrestlers into the mix, some of them probably not even deserving of a title shot. I think that there just trying to cash in on what happened after last year’s bout that saw Daniel Bryan win, to the vacate the title, so hopefully this won’t happen this year. This would have been better as a singles match mainly for the fact, like what happened last year fans will be probably be bored with the usual spots that we would expect from a ladder match, someone being put through a ladder after a high risk move, someone close to the belt being pushed off the ladder and possibly this could end up seeing Sin Cara off television again since that he seems to be injured every time that he is put in a ladder match environment. To go out on a limb I am going to say that either Owens is going to retain or that Ziggler is going to win, but I am favouring more to Owens.

4-3 Handicap Match: The New Day (C) v The League of Nations:                                         Well this is sure a surprise to me to see WWE making a match where The New Day are the ones on the other end of the extra man advantage. I think that it is a stroke of genius on the side of creative for them since this now makes New Day seem more like an anti-hero stable for the fans to cheer and boo then it is to have two heel teams face off against each other. Also I think that this also a lot of good creativity done on both the side of New Day since that after Raw on 21/3 they seemed to be pretty much over with the crowed and I really want some Booty-O’s. But I do have one problem and that is on the side of League of Nations and that is I think that they have been rather naff since Royal Rumble. They don’t seem to be getting that over with the crowd and I think that they do seem rather wasted, especially with Wade Barret since that he could be leaving the company possibly after WrestleMania and ever since Rusev got buried by John Cena and possibly punished for the leaks last year with TMZ he hasn’t been well since then. Del Rio seems like he just there and Sheamus is just there to be hated. With what could be going on behind the scenes I think that New Day are going to get the win.

WWE United States Championship Match: Kalisto (C) v Ryback:                                               I really wish that half the roster was back to full health because I think that if it was this match could have been better. Not to say that I think that either wrestler is bad, it because I think that it seems more of an unmatched fight. You have a best way to put it a cruiserweight fighting against a giant ape of a person that seems to flip flop more times than what Big Show does. In a realistic world I really don’t think that Kalisto would have a chance at all against Ryback however I think that WWE would want to see Kalisto keep the belt for a bit of a run until someone healthy could come along.

WWE Divas Championship Triple Threat Match: Charlotte (C) (w/ Ric Flair) v Sasha Banks v Becky Lynch:                                                                                                                          Well I had a feeling that this match was going to happen at one point when they brought these three up from NXT and I have a feeling that this could be possibly a show stealer if it’s done right and that they don’t fall the for the same spots usual triple threat matches happen where they take out one person and then have one-on-one for a bit since that gets boring rather fast. But I think that there could be a rather good chance that we could see a title change either here and if it does happen I think that Sasha would win at Mania since I think that she is willing to do more to win then what Becky would be. However if Charlotte was to retain the title I think that she is going to lose it on Raw the following night.

Hell in a Cell Match: Shane McMahon v The Undertaker:                                                          So after Fast Lane, I never expected that Shane McMahon would have ever returned to WWE since that he has been making a name for himself in other parts of the world and staying far away from WWE. His shoot during his return was spot on and it is such a fresh change to see a face figure returning to WWE that is more business side than wrestling. Then we got a few big shocks during the segment for the return and then during the episode of Raw on 21/3, the first was that Shane was back to collect on a debt where he wants control of Monday Night Raw, two Vince then issues a challenge to Shane where he would have to face a person of Vince’s choosing which turns out to be The Undertaker, third Vince then says that the match type will be a Hell in a Cell match. This is just freaking insane to arrange a match like this, then on Raw 21/3 Vince had put quite a ultimatum for the Undertaker for this match where if he were to lose to Shane then to quote Vince ‘be the last WrestleMania for the Undertaker’. I get the feeling that there are going to be a rather lot of good spots in this match and I get the feeling that there could be a chance that there will be a large spot for Shane since that he is rather infamous since that he has had numerous matches where he has had a lot of great spots in PPV history such as his Last Man Standing Match at Backlash 2001 or the insane drop he took at Summerslam 2000, Shane is willing to take risks and if anything was to go from the go home episode of Raw when he put the Undertaker through the announce table anything can be possible and I hope that this time we see something that will be nominated for a Slammy this year. For the win I am going to say that Shane will win it since then that way there can be a lot of really good storylines that can spiral off that could then see Triple H using NXT to bring more people up to the main roster or even another brand split.

No Holds Barred Street Fight Match: Dean Ambrose v Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman): So I decided to watch a young Dean Ambrose wrestle in a company before he joined WWE before I wrote this since that there have been a lot of segments that seems to be at least being a call back to what Ambrose used to do and that was some of the most extreme spots that I have seen since ECW (the proper ECW not the mess that WWE was putting out at that time) and I am really curious on how far WWE will let these two go. I mean it is a Street Fight but there are usually limits to it, at best I do see the likely hood of seeing Ambrose and Lesnar being busted open that just seems likely but hopefully they can do it right and less obvious like what had happened with Roman Reigns and Byron Saxton earlier this month. But for this match I do really want to see Ambrose win this match mainly for the fact that this is pretty much a match that does cater more for Ambrose and I don’t really want to see Lesnar win again. I know that his whole gimmick is being a ‘prize fighter’ but it is boring and that it seems like that they can only do matches that can be on main PPV’s , yet I think that what WWE could do and is have Lesnar use to get over other wrestlers cause I think that these two can put on a really good match and we could see Ambrose possibly headlining Payback. But for this match I see Ambrose winning it.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: Triple H (C) v Roman Reigns:               Well I already do have a pick on who I think is going to win this match and that is that this could be a interesting match and that the entrance for this can be rather well put together depending if they go on the side where they do another big blockbuster film for entrances (possibly Batman v Superman) and I think that it would be pretty interesting to see. But for the match I think like the previous matches I think that it could be a really well told match since that Triple H can put over people rather well. However I really don’t think that Reigns even has a chance in this match and I think that Triple H is going to win for this theory that I have, Triple H is holding going to be holding the title until a worthy challenger that can get over rather well with Triple H and that can go over well with the crowds since that there has been a lot of problems with Reigns going over with the crowd around pretty much everywhere, which is possibly down to WWE not giving him that much control with how he would control his character, but there have been some segments where the Reigns that people liked came back but I still don’t have that much hope for him winning. I get the feeling that I know who Triple H is going to be holding on that belt for and that is Seth Rollins, since he is on the route to recovery and there could be a chance that we could see him making an appearance at WrestleMania, possibly informing people that he could be returning soon and then we could see Rollins then take place back in the title in a really good match against Triple H down the road since he didn’t lose the title. So Triple H is going to retain but he’s going to put Reigns over in a rather good match.
