Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 Mini Comic

Last year I decided to finally go and play Star Wars The Forced Unleased 2 since that I had played the first game (on the PS2) and I was in a slight Star Wars kick. But since that I got it second had I was rather surprised to find that the game came with a micro comic book. So since that I was rather disappointed by the game is the comic that came with it any good?

The cover for the comic is pretty boring since that all we have is a picture of Starkiller posing with two lightsabres with force lightning enveloping his arms and across his body and that is pretty much we see of him since that he is not in the majority of the character. The rest of the story is from the point of Boba Fett.

The issue opens up with Boba Fett and Zasha arriving at Cato Neimoidia, where Fett fills her in on their mission. Their target is Starkiller and that all that he knows is that he is a strong force user and Zasha asks how strong. Fett points out how strong he is when they see the smoke from the ruins if Tarko-se, they head to the ruins and start searching.

On the ground they see that there are dozens of dead Stormtroopers and Zasha wants to take some of the gear for the black market but Fett tells her not to. Fett then notices that there is something else out there and we see the giant corpse of the Gorog, which is one of the bosses you get to fight in the game, and Zasha says that whoever killed this is out of their league but Fett says nothing is out of his league. Zasha asks Fett on what he thinks that Starkiller is after suggesting that he might be doing it for revenge or an imperial weapon but Fett says he’s looking for his woman, Juno, but then Fett starts picking up something on a scanner where the Gorog awakens.

They both try to get out of the way of the creature and Fett uses his scope to find a weak spot for the creature and notices that it has two hearts. The Gorog knock Fett out of the sky and manages to stand back up and fires a rocket right back at it and then punches a hole right through it, like Goku against King Piccolo, and kills it. Zasha tells Fett that this is the end of the road for her and asks Fett to go with her. But he declines saying that he took the job and Zasha asks him to make sure that the job doesn’t take him.

Meanwhile at Kamino where we see Darth Vader looking at the hologram of the confrontation between him and Starkiller. Starkiller asks what is happening to him with Vader saying that the accelerated cloning process is imperfect but this time it has seemed to have improved since that Starkiller seems to be more stable but Vader thinks that he is going to suffer the same fate. Starkiller asks what is he going to do with him and Vader reaches for his lightsabre but Starkiller blasts Vader with force lightning and the hologram ends. Vader asks if the person with his if he has seen enough revealing that he is talking with Boba Fett. Fett questions on how a clone was able to do this more damage. Vader says that he is a failed experiment and that Fett would be well paid if he can bring Starkiller back here. Fett says that he already has a head start and Vader tells him to bring Juno to act as bait and Fett then demands that he wants a squadron of Stormtroopers to act as fodder which Vader accepts and he also gives him some new Troopers, which are also in the game.

Overall this micro comic is all right and it also does seem that it could fill in some plot holes that the game has and the only way that I could figure out is by buying the graphic novel which I may end up doing at some point.

Royal Rumble 2017 Predictions

So it has been a while since I did a predictions blog for a pay-per-view for the fact I did rather give up, but this year I think that I am only going do to predictions for the big four and there’s no better way to restart than with the Royal Rumble which can be rather unpredictable sometimes.

Pre-Show:

WWE Raw Tag Team Championship Match: Cesaro/Sheamus (c) v The Club: So, with the controversial ending to their last championship match the decision was made to have two referees set to call this match. cesarosheamusvtheclubBut for the match itself I think that Cesaro and Sheamus will come out top and I think that The Club will pick them up on a future Raw to then defend them in some sort of multi-team match for WrestleMania. For the match I do see that the second referee is going to come into play after possibly being Brouge Kicked by accident causing some sort of turmoil, The Club will take advantage of this situation throwing one of them out of the way and try to hit the Magic Killer but it gets broken up and Cesaro and Sheamus hit their finishers. But a small part of this thinks that it is going to be a draw with both teams getting a pin on each other the referees counting both falls.  Winners Cesaro/Sheamus

Sasha Banks v Nia Jax: I think that this could be a rather upset of a match with Nia being a dominate force controlling most of the match, but Sasha will make a comeback and getting her off her feet, but I do think that Nia is going to win the match by powering out of the Banks Statement. Winner Nia Jax

Main Card:

Six Woman Tag Match: Becky Lynch, Naomi and Nikki Bella v Alexa Bliss, Mickie James and Natalya: 6womantagmatchSo this match pretty much just came up out of two actual rivalries that have been happening on SmackDown Live! and just bringing in Naomi since she just returned to TV after being off (I believe that it was filming for a movie or it could have been a minor injury) but it does seem rather pointless, but I think that is due to the rather lack of women wrestlers on both brands. I think that this is going to be a quick win for the face team and the rest of the story points will be done on the rest of SmackDown Live! heading to the next PPV. Winners: Becky, Naomi and Nikki

WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match: Rich Swann (c) v Neville:swannvneville I did think that this match would have been on the pre-show but it isn’t, go figure. The current Cruiserweight division is still rather fresh and I think that the rivalry between these two has been rather well told since that unlike the stories that have been told on Raw that they get two shows to develop their story. Plus, it has been awesome to see Neville in this new heel persona and I think that he can win it since that he is pretty much doing anything to win a match and make himself a dominate wrestler. Rich Swann is a good wrester as well and I think is time as champion is over, I think that Neville will win since that he has had a rather underwhelming last year since he spent most of it on the shelf with a injury. Winner: Neville

WWE Raw Women’s Championship Match: Charlotte Flair (c) v Bayley:charlottevbailey I don’t think that Bayley is going to win the title at the Rumble, I don’t think that she is going to win it at Raw, I don’t even think that he is going to win the title a Elimination Chamber but I do think that she is going to win the title at WrestleMania. I do think that this match is going to have a rather screw-job finish with either interference from Dana Brooke, who I’m sure that we have never seen on TV since she was the special guest referee in their last title match or maybe Stephine gets involved in the match again costing Bayley the match. Winner: Charlotte Flair

WWE Championship Match: AJ Styles (c) v John Cena:stylesvcena I am not going to lie, I really don’t care that much about John Cena, mainly for the fact that he decides the reason why he didn’t like The Rock coming back in for being a part-timer which is what Cena has pretty much become. Also, the second thing that I do find annoying is that Cena comes back from filming whatever he was doing and automatically gets a title shot, overpassing people who have more of a claim to become the number one contender but nope he back so he deserves a match. It does really annoy me and I really don’t think that he is going to get the win here and that Styles is going to beat him in two ways. The first being cleanly like their match at SummerSlam and the second way either by DQ or count out and retain the title that way. I think the only way that I think that Cena would win would be at WrestleMania in some sort of triple threat match.  But I think that Styles is going to retain the title and then possibly loose it at Elimination Chamber. Winner: AJ Styles

WWE Universal Championship No Disqualification Match: Kevin Owens (c) v Roman Reigns: owensvreignsSo, this could be harder to predict since that before going into this match I would have had Kevin Owens down to retain since that the match was going in the Reigns was United States Champion but he now doesn’t have that it could go either way. But with Reigns now without a belt could see himself with a new belt since that after his rematch he got screwed by winning by DQ and since that this match is no DQ there could be a chance that the odds are move even. Even more so since that Owens partner in crime, Chris Jericho, will have a hard time to get involved in the match since that he is going to be inside a shark cage above the ring. But I think that Owens is going to win because I think that Jericho is going to have something that he will drop to Owens to help him win the match. Winner: Kevin Owens

2017 Royal Rumble Match: The Royal Rumble match is something that can be rather unpredictable, for instance I didn’t think that Triple H would have returned last year to win the WWE Championship but he did. So, for this year I am going to try and be more unpredictable covering the winner and any surprise entrants since that is one of the highlights of the Rumble, that and Kofi Kingston’s amazing ways to avoid elimination. First, I will cover the people that will be surprises. My first surprise pick will be the first inductee for this year’s Hall of Fame, Kurt Angle, the reason why I say this is that I don’t know what his contract is going to be like since that the WWE scheduling is more longer than what he was when he was in TNA, but there could be a chance that he tries to arrange a deal that Brock Lesnar has currently when he works and X amount of days for the company over the year. But it would be really cool for a live audience to just pop when they hear his theme music and then the ‘You Suck’ chants. My second surprise pick is Samoa Joe for the main fact that he hasn’t been seen on NXT since the replays that they did for the Australia tour when he faced off against Shinsuke Nakamura in a rematch for the NXT title. Plus, the fact this would make him a free agent and SmackDown need some big players. My third pick is Seth Rollins which would be a weird thing since that he isn’t in the Rumble Match anymore and I think that two things are going to happen. One is that Rollins is going to take out somebody and take their place (like Mick Foley in 2004 Rumble). The second theory is that he will get a second chance to get in by beating somebody that could be on the pre-show or the very first match. Going on to the winner I think that it is going to be rather tough choice. I think that for the final four it’s going to be Rollins, Joe, Undertaker and Baron Corbin but I think that Rollins isn’t going to win it because Triple H will screw him out of it continuing their weird feud that keeps going stopping and starting. I think that Undertaker will win it so that he can have one final run with the championship so that he can then end up retiring later this year or next year. Winner: The Undertaker

Top Seven Community Episodes

One day when I was playing Dungeons and Dragons at a friend’s house we took a small break and we watched some of Community since that everyone there had already watched most of the show but I had not yet. I watched an episode and I freaking loved it. So then I bought all five seasons (at the time since then the sixth season is out) and watched them all in the span of a week. One year later I have decided to make a top ten list of my favourite episodes. However, this isn’t an actual top whatever list but just a list of ten episodes that I like and going from series to series mainly since I think it would be hard to make a list of ten and then reordering them.(This was meant to be a top ten list but I got really tired and lazy trying to get this out.)

Spanish 101: One of the first episodes that I do like from Community is Spanish 101 for two things, the story with Jeff and Peirce and ending with Troy and Abed. The episode revolves around Jeff trying to spend time with Britta and plans on doing it by trying to work with her on an assignment but Pierce swaps with Britta causing Jeff to be rather annoyed. In the study room Jeff waits for Peirce who arrives late and Jeff just wants to get the assignment over and done with quickly, however Peirce has other ideas.spanish-101 He decides that they need put on a whole show that barely has anything to do with the assignment. Troy and Abed then come along and show off what they are doing for the assignment and Jeff then snaps at Peirce who then leaves to try and hit on Britta at the silent protest that is happening outside. The next day after Peirce’s drunken ramblings their teacher, Chang, gives Jeff a passing grade and Peirce to so the assignment by himself. But Jeff decides to stand up with Peirce and does the whole show with him and we get a montage of the different scenes they had cutting along with the images of the rest of the gang seeing the craziness that happens. They both get low grades and they start to have more of a friendly bond between each other. Now to the second part of why I like this episode is the rap at the very end where Troy and Abed converse in Spanish what they were saying and just start putting nonsense together since that’s what the subtitles translated.

Modern Warfare: For the first season I think that this is one of my favourite episodes. The episode starts off as any usual episode of Community but then things change quickly as Jeff takes a nap in his car to find that the whole campus is deserted and covered with paintballs. Jeff finds out that The Dean Pelton announced that the prize has students hunting each other down. Jeff nearly gets attacked by Leonard but Abed saves him and delivers an adlibbed Terminator 2 line. They arrive back with Troy and Jeff discovers what the prize is priority registration for next semester. The chess club then tries to attack them but the gang uses a trap to shoot them in the back, also Jeff takes off his sweater to have a Bruce Willis from Die Hard image. They head out of their safe room and find Peirce with Starburns who gets shot by him. They head into the toilets to have a pee break where they get ambushed by Britta, Annie and Shirley. They join forces and they head across campus where Troy and Annie get hit by the Glee Club, Jeff uses Peirce as bait and he finds out where the Glee club are and they take them out. Later that night in the cafeteria the remaining members go over what they are going to do with their priority registration and Shirley says that she is going to book morning classes so that she can spend more time with her boys and then the roller-skater troop attacks them and Shirley and Abed are taken out of the game. modern-warfareDean Pelton talks with Chang in his office where Chang asks for him to be put in the game so that he can take them out and gets enrolled in a class. In the study room, Britta patches up Jeff and they end up banging. Britta tries to get the jump on Jeff but he was one step ahead but Chang comes in wielding an advanced paintball gun and then gets into a slow-motion shoot off with Britta who gets hit but Chang also gets hit who starts to detonate a paint bomb that engulfs the entire room with green paint. Jeff goes to Dean Pelton’s office and blasts around the office with Chang’s paintball gun and Dean Pelton tries to give Jeff the blu-ray player but he shoots him in the head and asks that he wants the priority registration which the next day he gives to Shirley. I love this episode since that it pretty much is homage to 80’s action movies but most notably Die Hard and since they swapped from guns to paintball it was a really good touch.

Advanced Dungeons and Dragons: I love playing Dungeons and Dragons and this is something that I really do like. The episode starts off with a voice over introducing a character called Neil who transferred there after being bullied but the same starts to happen at Greendale. Jeff observes him and tries to cheer him up with bringing up his interest in D&D. Neil gives Jeff all of his manuals that he has which has Jeff worried about him so he gets the group together play a game with Neil to cheer up his spirit and they didn’t invite Pierce since he is rather a bit of a dick. Abed acts as the dungeon master for the group and Chang start playing with characters whilst Neil plays as his own character and he manages to impress them by killing the first wave of enemies with one swing. Pierce arrives in the study hall and is rather pissed that he wasn’t invited to play and Abed plays him into the game where he plays himself. Neil gives his character his cloak and Peirce uses his turn to steal Neil’s sword and flees from the group.  Jeff and the group now decide that the group would hunt down Peirce and recover Neil’s weapon and Peirce goes off and gets some help from another student getting ahead of the group’s advancements. The group advance their story by heading to a town to acquire a Pegasus to pursuit Peirce and Annie seduces an elf to get the Pegasus.advanced-dungeons-and-dragons Peirce returns to the group and he uses his newly acquired amulet that controls Draconis to freeze time and transforms Neil’s character to be overweight. Peirce also uses his turn to tell Neil that it was Jeff who coined the term Fat Neil but Neil doesn’t seem to care and uses his turn to show pity on Peirce and the rest of the group does the same. Peirce gets frustrated with inactivity of the group and unfreezes time and he tries to go for another move but that uses up his turn and Neil attacks Peirce with the sword by throwing it at the amulet around his neck and Draconis eats Peirce and the dragon gives them some of the treasure that he has been hoarding ending the campaign. I mainly like this episode since that it does show up on how much of a dick that Peirce even for a fictional world. Also I like the opening credits for the show since that they have a more unique look since that all the actors had a more fantasy based images used for their pictures.

Critical Film Studies: This is a pretty interesting episode of Community since that it parodies two films, Pulp Fiction and My Dinner with Andre. This I did rather like since that looking at the promos for it showed that it was going to be a Pulp Fiction parody and this twist is rather good. The episode has Jeff and Abed having dinner at a fancy restaurant and Jeff notices something different about Abed and that he is acting social and normal. Jeff also wants to get through this dinner so that he can then take Abed to his surprise party that is, of-course, Pulp Fiction themed, where Britta was able to get the diner that she worked at booked for the party. In the restaurant Abed tells Jeff about his trip to the Cougar Town set where he played an extra in the show (which he actually did). Abed also manages to get Jeff to open up and have a real conversation where Jeff lets out his insecurities and recalls an incident where he had to dress up as an Indian girl.critical-film-studies Meanwhile at the Diner Troy seems to be jealous about the gift that Jeff had got Abed since it was a briefcase (copying from Pulp Fiction) and Chang tries to get Troy to open up the briefcase, which he does and discovers there is a lightbulb and a certificate of authenticity claiming that the briefcase is the one that was used in Pulp Fiction. The bulb ends up overheating and then causes the certificate to burn. Troy blames Chang for what happened and starts breaking things in the diner. Jeff gets annoyed with Abed when he finds out that what he was doing was all an act and the rest of the gang comes in revealing that they had a surprise party planned and Britta even got fired from the job because of the damages. Later Abed meets with Jeff at the diner and brings up the reason of the ploy and that is he feels that him and Jeff had feel like they were drifting apart and it was his idea to get them back together. I like this episode for the homages to Pulp Fiction and it works really good way and the plan that Abed came up was rather unique.

A Fistful of Paintballs: This and the sequel episodes are my favourite episodes of all time. The episode starts off with Annie saving Neil from a group of bullies but when he wants a gun he gets shot. Dean Pelton had come up with a new paintball concept since that last year’s contest was a failure. This time around he partnered up with Pistol Patty’s Cowboy Creamery, an ice cream company who ponied up $100,000 for the winner and that’s how the pandemonium starts. Annie finds Abed back at her camp and he asks for her to join him, Jeff and Chang. But back with them they have been trapped by the math club and Chang betrays Jeff but Abed makes the save but Chang gets away. Jeff informs Annie that he is low on ammo and they discuss whether or not to align themselves with Peirce who is held in the cafeteria or steal it, but they are interrupted by the Black Rider but they manage to evade him noting that he doesn’t look like a student that goes there. Heading to the cafeteria they run into Britta, Shirley and Troy who are working for Peirce who has set up safe zone named after himself Fort Hawthorn. Peirce says that they should team up and split the cash between themselves and tells them where the ammo stash is at. Whilst looking for the stash Annie rescues Chang from a group of cheerleaders, Chang gets away from her and Annie peruses him to find The Black Rider. a-fistful-of-paintballsAbed and Jeff arrive to save Annie and she discovers that Peirce had loaded Jeff’s gun with blanks and they head off the Dean’s office where he is hiding in the supply closet with the paintball stash where they stock up and Annie takes Chang’s paintball gun from last year and they head back to Peirce. They find the room trashed and they find Peirce and confront him, he says that he filled the gun with blanks because he was pissed that he didn’t get invited to a card game the group had but it turns out they weren’t playing, but in fact voting to see if Peirce would be allowed in the study group for next year. But it turns out that he is still in since that it had to be a unanimous decision and that Annie voted to keep him in but nobody else knows. The Black Rider emerges and gets into a stand-off with Jeff as Annie gets in a stand-off with Peirce. Pierce feigns a heart attack but when the Black Rider goes to help him he gets shot by Pierce, the Black Rider then reveals that he was only there since he worked for Pistol Patty so that they can keep the money, Peirce runs off vowing revenge. But here we come to the best part of the episode. Chang is seen looking for a new alliance when he is shot by a paintball machine gun from the back of Pistol Patty’s van where a group of people dressed up as a commando team disembark where Pistol Patty announces that it’s time for Plan B Operation Total Invasion. The good thing about this episode is that it starts out as a western film, parodying spaghetti westerns most notably the Dollars Trilogy but then at the end it completely changes leading into the second part.

A Few Paintballs More: This is a pretty good follow up to from the first part and then it turns into a Star Wars parody, but the first thing that I want to talk about is this, I am sure that this episode I’m sure inspired the Death Troopers in The Purge: Anarchy since there are a group that goes around with a machine gun in the back of a truck and this episode aired in 2011 which aired two years before the first film, but that could just be a coincidence. The episode begins with a text crawl going over what had happened before. Pistol Patty and a squadron of Troopers march through the halls of Greendale and arrive at the Dean Pelton’s office to then reveal that Patty is in face Dean Spreck, of rivals City College, and he tells Pelton of his plan which Abed and Troy overhear. Troy and Abed return to the surviving students and form a rebel alliance to defeat the Troopers and win the cash to repair the campus, but this also causes a problem between Jeff and Troy to see who would be the leader.  During the bickering Spreck sends in a robot armed with a paint bomb to get everyone in the room but Magnitude sacrifices himself for the rest of the rebels. Peirce gets captured by the Troopers but convinces them to take him as prisoner offering to give them information on Jeff. a-few-paintballs-moreAbed flirts with Annie going through a Han Solo impersonation and she is attracted to this personality. Troy and Jeff come up with two different plans to take on the Troopers with Jeff wanting to do an all-out attack to get the gun in the Ice Cream van whilst Troy says that they should lure them into the Library setting up the sprinkler system to cover them in paint. But Annie being the voice of reason suggests they do both by using Troy’s plan as a distraction to take the gun. Troy, Abed, Annie and Shirley draw some Troopers in the Library whilst Jeff’s group goes after the gun. Troy’s team manages to fortify themselves in the study room but when they try to escape through the vent but they can’t escape due to one of them getting stuck in the vent. So they decide to shoot their way out of the building and Troy is shot during the escape but Abed and Annie manage to barricade themselves in a room and Shirley is able to set off the alarm and they are able to take out the Troopers as well as Abed and Annie, who share a kiss in the raining paint and Abed snaps out of his Han Solo persona. Meanwhile with Jeff’s team the gun overpowers their team with Britta being the sole survivor from their team, but Shirley rescues her in a golf buggy and they shoot the remaining Troopers but Britta gets hit during their run. As Shirley celebrates she gets shot by two troopers but Pierce manages to feign a heart attack again and shoots the two remaining enemies and wins the fight for Greendale. He then announces that he is going to give the money to the school and the people rejoice. The next day the study group meets in the library minus Peirce (who arrives later) talking about what classes they are going to take next semester. Peirce arrives and starts telling them their story that he has been at Greendale for 12 years and that this is the only group that he has been a part of and is the only group that has ever wanted him. In the end he decides that he no longer is going to be part of the study group and the group just thinks that he is acting out but he doesn’t return ending the series. It is a really good ending for the series and the parodies for Star Wars are really good. Also from what I found (from Wikipedia) that after Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige gave the direction to Joe and Anthony Russo for Captain America: The Winter Soldier after watching the finale in which Joe directed.

Digital Estate Planning: One of the things that I do like about this show is that a couple of times they will do an episode that is rather unique and I think this is one of my favourite one. The episode consists of Peirce and the group being invited to a warehouse where they are met by Gilbert Lawson who is Pierces father’s assistant. He informs him and the group that in his father’s last will and testament it was is dying wish for Pierce and seven friends to play a game that he had in development for thirty years. The game is pretty cool since that they decided to go with the more retro designing of 8-bit gaming to modern day graphics. In the game they are greeted by Cornelius, Pierces’ father, who tells them that this is actually a punishment for him since that Pierce questioned the moist toweletees industry and that the first player that reaches the end of the game wins Pierce’s inheritance and Gilbert will take the position of the eight player. digital-estate-planningPlus, for a twist Gilbert knows a lot about the game and easily kills the group to progress further in the game.  After restarting from the game the group come across the first village where Abed falls for a NPC called Hilda. But whilst going through the town looking for a clue for the game, Britta creates a strength potion that Jeff believes is actually poison and during that time Annie and Shirley manage to kill the towns blacksmith and his wife (Hilda’s parents) and decide to burn down the entire town down to erase their traces there. Gilbert then arrives, levelled up and kills the group but when he kills Britta he drinks the ‘Potion of Strength’ and dies since Jeff was right and it was actually poisonous and Gilbert is sent back to the start of the game. Gilbert becomes frustrated and he decides to use cheat codes and turns his character invincible. Abed decides to stay with Hilda and rebuild her life and after beating most of the team they find the item they need to get to the last level, the white crystal. Gilbert confronts the group and when they try to attack they just reflect off him. Jeff and Peirce realise that he is cheating and confronts Gilbert out of the game where he goes on to give them his backstory where it turns out that he in fact Peirce half-brother since his father had an affair and says that he deserves Pierces inheritance and that he was more of a son than what Peirce was. They head back into the game and they find that Abed has built a large castle and an endless amount of resources to build up what they need. Gilbert arrives at the end where Cornelius congratulates him and says he worn stand for his lies and asks him to sign an agreement disavowing him from the Hawthorne bloodline, but he rejects it and Cornelius starts a war against him. The group arrives heavily armed at the castle and is able to defeat Cornelius but everyone has sacrificed themselves to defeat him and Gilbert is the only one left standing, who rejects it believing that he is not deserve it. Gilbert thanks the group and starts to bond with Peirce whilst offering drinks for the rest of the gang and Abed manages to get a copy of Hilda before leaving. I like this episode for quite a few reasons, I’m a big gamer and that something more different for a design it is well designed.

Justice League/ Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #1 Review

Last year it was revealed that DC Comics and Boom Studios announced that they were going to be doing a cross over between two of their titles for a six-part miniseries title Justice League/ Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. When I heard that they were doing this series I was over the moon since that I am a fan of Power Rangers and I have been reading the current run of MMPR from Boom, which I should get around to reviewing the second volume.

The cover for this issue is rather good with the cover spilt into two parts with the Justice League on one side and the Rangers on their side.jlpr1 Another good thing about it is that it seems that the reflection symmetry does match off well with Superman and Jason in the middle since they are the main face of the team, Batman and Billy being the more deductive of the team, Cyborg and Trini being the technology translators, but Flash, Wonder Woman, Tommy and Kimberly I can’t think for the match up and the you have Green Lantern (John Stewart) and Zack are together for another unknown reason.

The issue opens up with a narration box saying ‘Angel Grove. Home to the Power Rangers’ with shots of the city and cutting over to a house and then to the high school. The narration continues on to say ‘Over jlpr5360,000 people live in Angle Grove… or did they?’ and then cutting over to the next page to reveal a giant crater where Angle Grove used to be. We then see the Rangers looking at the crater shocked about what they see with Zack kneeling saying that this is all of his fault but when he tries to repeat the line somebody cuts him off and it is Superman who tells him that it is not his fault. Zack says that they’re gone and we argued but Superman retorts saying that it isn’t on him and that they know who did this.

36 hours before that we see the Rangers in the command centre where Zack teleports in and Jason asks him where he was and he replies that he got into an argument with his parents about him disappearing too often. This is something that is actually a good point in the series since that I don’t think that around the era of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers that there was ever a time where the parents complained about their disappearances before. Zack asks Zordon what has happened and he replied that Alpha Five has gone missing. Billy says that he went to do a check on the perimeter defences and Zordon lost the signal, he sends the Rangers out via the teleporters to find where Alpha had gone to. Zack manages to find Alpha in a forest and he asks Alpha what had happened to him with him just replying with Aye’s and Yi’s. Zack teleports back to the command centre where Zordon asks him what happened and he replied that he isn’t sure since that he looked like that when he arrived. Zordon points out that there is something wrong and tells him to teleport Alpha away with Zack getting a shocked expression on his face. Alpha Five explodes and blasts Zack away, Zordon tells him to wake up and then sees something that says to him ‘Oh yes’. Lord Zedd appears in front of him with an army of putties behind him.jlpr2

First of this is something that I am rather curious about with the canon for the Power Ranger series from Boom for the main fact is that they have only had two villains so far in the series. The first is Rita Repulsa since that the beginning of the story is set after the events of Green with Evil and the Mysterious Ranger who remote piloted the Black Dragon. It does make me curious if they do plan on adding Lord Zedd later this year for the series.

Zedd starts talking to Zordon and Zack cuts him off by saying no. Zedd tells him to stay down but he gets up and morphs in to is Ranger mode and tries to attack Zedd but he manages to whack him with his staff. Zedd says that he is stubborn or has a head injury to think that he can beat him, however Zack knows he can’t beat him so instead he decides to teleport him away. But Zordon chimes in saying that the Transporter is damaged but it’s too late. Zedd tells him to let go and Zack thinks that it is a good idea and he dumps Zedd somewhere but where that is we don’t know until possibly the next issue. Zack on the other hand crashes out of the teleporter landing somewhere.

Back at the command centre the other rangers arrive where they see the Putties are there and they morph and take them down. Trini picks up the head off the decoy Alpha and Zordon fills the team in on what has happened. Kimberly asks what happened to Zack and Zordon replies that he teleported him away but with the teleporter damaged in the blast all he knows is that Zack is far, far away and Trini asks where in the world he is and Zordon replies saying ‘that’s the thing…’. jlpr4Back with Zack he is beating up some Putties where headlights appear to then see Batman appearing telling Zack to put the axe down. Zordon finishes his line from before saying that Zack is not on their world. Zack replies to Batman saying that he knows what he is, whacking a Puttie in the process. He says that Batman is one of Zedd’s monsters but Batman says that he doesn’t know what Zedd is and that he can tell that he has a number of injuries and that he may have a concussion and again asks him to put down the weapon. But Zack replies with a no and jumps up to whack Batman with his axe, even though in the panel before they were standing in front of each other. Batman blocks the axe attack and manages to grapple Zack down onto the ground when in a splash page the Rangers appearing with Tommy saying ‘let go of our friend’.

Batman communicates to somebody asking for assistance and they reply being curious since that Batman usually doesn’t ask for help. He tells them that he is fighting enhanced beings that have increased durability, speed and strength. He asks where he is and he replies that he is in Illinois, then Ohio and closing in. Tommy asks Zack if he is okay and he gives him a run down in what happened to him. Billy tells him that Batman is not one of Zedd’s creatures and that he is unique to this world and that with the teleporter damaged he was transported to another world. But when Billy says that they are in another dimension a red blur passes straight through them taking their weapons revealing the Flash has taken them. Batman jumps into thejlpr3 Batmobile fires a missile towards Rangers and Kimberly tells then to get Zack out of there but Zack says that he can’t leave. Trini says that it is hard to rescue somebody if you leave them behind but Zack says that it is his fault since that he brought the fake Alpha and that he also brought Zedd to this dimension to as well and that they can’t go home without Zedd. Kimberly then replies saying that we have to deal with whatever this is and then summons the Pterodactyl Dinozord and plans to take out the Batmobile. Flash contacts the Watchtower, where Cyborg is stationed, Flash says that they need the big guns informing that they are dealing with enhanced beings and says that Batman has been taken by a Flying Pink Dinosaur Robot ending issue one.

For a first cross over issue this is pretty good beginning. We see the reason why the Power Rangers ended up in the DC Earth and the idea that the team thinks that Batman is evil creature that could be working for Zedd is rather interesting. It since that it is this is a first issue there is only so much story that they can have without it being bogged down in exposition. But there is something that I am rather curious about and that is how does the morphing grid still work when they are in a different dimension. I know that in MMPR season 3 they were in a similar incident when the Rangers went to another world to help Prince Dex and start off the Masked Rider series and Zordon said that there would be a strain on the morphing grid, but in the end there wasn’t any shown in the show. I am curious on what they are going to be doing for the next five issues since there is a lot of story that is still left to go as well as whatever devious plan that Zedd can come up with from the help of DC villains.

Superior Spider-Man: No Escape

Back in 2012 I started reading the series Amazing Spider-Man, which is the first series that I actually picked up, then I started reading through the changing point in the series, Superior Spider-Man where there was a complete tonal shift in the series since Otto Octavius had exchanged bodies with Peter Parker since that Octavius was dying. But for this I am not going to be starting at the beginning but a few issues in covering one of the stories that started to have some points that started pointing in the way that lead up to the end of the series with No Escape.

The first issue has something that is rather good for people who either picked up on the series late, like me, and the usual recap page that Spider-Man titles have had for a while. The recap covers that Otto is now Spider-Man, he managed to discover that there was a fragment of Peter Parker in his mind that he apparently got rid of and something that happened before Otto was Spider-Man. During a previous storyline in the Amazing Spider-Man titles Alistair Smythe, The Spider-Slayer, killed J. Jonah Jameson’s wife during a storyline, which I have forgotten the name of, when she saved him from being killed. Since then Smythe has been a prisoner on the Raft waiting for the day of his execution.

The first part begins with Peter Parker sitting in a class listening to his teacher talk about the Negative Zone. But also with this he is also narrating about having dreams like this and a flashback panel where a young Otto and his teacher in what appears to be the same seats with Lamaze saying that he doesn’t know what the teacher is saying and has Otto to help him. Otto continues to narrate by complaining about he is only here because Peter never bothered to get his doctorate. Anna Maria, a new character introduced in the Superior Spider-Man series asks why Peter even bothers about taking the classes since that he pretty much gets the highest score in all of the tests and replies that he is pretty much there to annoy Dr Lamaze. Peter then gets a call on his secure line and walks out of the class where Glory Grant, Jonah’s assistant saying the Jonah has an important call for him. Jonah informs Spider-Man that Smythe is going to be executed tomorrow and that it is scheduled for noon at the Raft. Jonah wants Spider-Man there tomorrow since that he has a feeling that Smythe may have an escape plan in place. Spider-Man replies that by then end of tomorrow it will be all over but Jonah says ‘not for me’ after he hangs up and turns down the picture of his wife.

The next day Jonah arrives on the Raft and he is greeted by the head of security there called Shipley who wonders if he has had a chance to review his resume but Jonah shredded it since that during Shipley’s time there he hasn’t had a good record since there have been a number of escapes from the prison.superior-spiderman5 Jonah then says that he is surprised that the Raft is still here since having a super-villain prison near a major city is a rather bad idea, he then asks Shipley to do a walk through on what is going to happen before the execution. But what they didn’t notice coming from the boat that is transferring prisoners to other facilities, small robots disembark. Inside the prison Shipley informs about what prisoners are left inside which are the three characters that were more of victims of Spider-Man. You have Boomerang who nearly died at the hands of Spider-Man, Scorpion had his jaw knocked clean off and Vulture who was now made blind with his fight with Spider-Man. Jonah asks why the Lizard is still here since that he killed a child but Shipley says that he has been a model prisoner and is quieter than others prisoners and will be moved out tomorrow. Then we finally see Smythe in his prison with them saying that he will be leaving in a body bag.

Back at Horizon Labs Peter is transferring some of the Spider-Man tech somewhere in truck where Max Modell asks him what he is doing and that he also needs to come up with some new tech since that he hasn’t in a while and it is coming up to the end of the quarter. Peter replies that he’ll make a new invention and it’ll make him weep. But Max gets annoyed with Peter since that Peter has been coming off more disrespectful, mainly with the fact with Otto taking over his body. Peter starts to change into his Spider-Man costume and narrates about his new life and how that in some aspects has limitations but then he goes on to say how he has made himself better since taking him over since he had created thousands of Spider-Bots to patrol the city where Peter was a one-man operation.

Spider-Man arrives on the Raft where the same boxes that Peter was dealing with are now there and he met by Shipley who is surprised by the Spider-Bots arriving at the prison. Shipley says that they should coordinate but he cuts him off saying that he is a failure of a man and head of security. Inside the Raft Smythe notices that Spider-Man in the Raft where he makes the quip of the Spider-Man supervising the slaying of the Spider-Slayer. Spider-Man replies with that he takes no pleasure in the death of any human being but is going to relish that Smythe is going to die in the Raft. Smythe tries to get under his skin again by bringing up Marla Jameson but Spider-Man ignores him and walking over to the empty cell of Otto Octavius, Spidey then tells him that he is done playing games and is free to leave.

Jonah arrives back on the island along with his assistant Miss Grant as well as Norah Winters, a writer or the Daily Bugle. We then cut over to the viewing room where they are sitting waiting for the Smythe to be executed but Smythe’s lawyer objects about Jameson’s presence since that he believes that he had Smythe’s execution moved earlier with his mayoral power. But Jameson states that he isn’t here as mayor but as a widower and that he had this litigated. He then goes on to say that he is going to watch the guy that killed his wife die and the he is going to enjoy it. Smythe interrupts their conversation by saying thy he doesn’t hold malice towards him or anyone else, he was a changed man and is confident that he will be saved when he dies. superior-spidermanSpidey says that he has heard that saying before but stops what he saying when he says ‘A murderer doesn’t suddenly become a different- ‘when Norah asks him why he stops he reply saying that it doesn’t matter and that they should start the lethal injection. Smythe smiles and says let’s and a bunch of Mini-Slayers start pouring out of the vents and he is set free and armours up. Spidey activates one of his programmes and has his Spider-Bots deal with the Mini-Slayers and the he will go after Smythe. Smythe says that his priority today is freedom and that he is going to use the weakness of the Raft to his advantage by trying to punch a hole in the wall and when he does it just leaves a small hole and an impact area. Spidey then tells him that he actually reinforced the walls with a gravimetric field that increased the mass of any area that takes damage. Smythe then tries to go through the vents but that way is also covered with lasers.

Meanwhile with the villains in the medical area, the Mini-Slayers make their way into their room and they start to bond with them and start to repair them, including the Vulture being able to see again.superior-spiderman7 Smythe only wants one thing from them and that is to kill Spider-Man and everyone on the Raft and then they will be free. On the final page we see the new designs for Boomerang, Vulture and Scorpion in a more enhanced armour and they look menacing ending part one.

Part two opens up with a page flashbacking to when Smythe killed Marla and at the very bottom of the page, Jameson states that Smythe is not getting off this island alive. Smythe’s lawyer blames Jameson for what has happened saying that his presence upset his client and Jameson whacks him across the face. Norah notices that there are still robots around but Miss Grant, I think that’s who said it since the word balloon for it is nowhere near anybody. One of the Spider-Bots then emits a hologram of Spider-Man which must be a protocol when Smythe escaped. Norah then makes a Star Wars quote that Princess Leia but the hologram keeps on going saying that he has a protocol to have the Spider-Bots protect them in a force field so that Smythe can’t use them as hostages. Just as the force field starts deploying Jameson jumps out of it with the shock especially to Miss Grant who says that the force field is there to protect them and that there is nothing to protect him from Smythe, when Jameson replies that there is nothing to protect Smythe from him. In a hallway Jameson takes a gun from a dead guard and says that Smythe is going to pay for what he has done.

Cutting over to the fight between Smythe and Spidey has now spilled to outside of the room and now into some corridor. Spidey notices that Smythe seems rather annoyed since that he is able to counter his attacks with some ease, but Smythe says that he isn’t having any trouble since that his death is the reason that he exists. Spidey then insults Smythe saying that was a better scientist than what he is since that he used his brain whilst Smythe flails around like a bull in a china shop.superior-spiderman4 Spidey then says that he has informed the Avengers about what has happened and then Smythe says that he has his own reinforcements as we see Boomerang, Vulture and Scorpion coming down a corridor. Spidey admits that his strategy was rather smart using the Mini-Slayers and having the self-replicate using the tech from the Raft as it was being shut down, but then shows that he is more superior being able to lock down the entire prison and he was using Raft’s generators giving Smythe an idea and taking advantage of Spidey, Smythe then says that he will get rid of his gadgets after he watches him die, but before he can say die somebody else says is and a laser blast goes across Smythe’s shoulder. It’s revealed that a guard shot him that catches Smythe off guard since that he thought that he dealt with the rest of the guards in the Raft. Smythe throws Spidey at the guard and the guard asks what was wrong with him since that he seemed to be more of an amateur, Spidey replies on why he should be taking orders from the guard when it turns out that it was actually Jameson, Spidey says that he can’t protect him and fight Smyth but Jameson says that he doesn’t need his protection. Jameson says that he brought Spider-Man to ensure that Smythe was executed and to make sure of it. Spidey replies that he wants to be absolutely certain of what Jameson was saying and Jameson pretty much states that Smythe will die for his crimes today and to do whatever is necessary to make that happen. Spidey understands what needs to be done and tells Jameson to go back to the other since that staying around won’t be safe.

Spidey is on the hunt for Smythe through the Raft and he manages to track him through the communications from the Mini-Slayers but Smythe realises what he has done and he managed to trace the frequency of the Spider-Bots and gave Spidey’s location to his friends. superior-spiderman-2Boomerang, Vulture and Scorpion crash through a wall and ganged up on Spidey. Spidey tries to get the offence on the three but it seems to be of no use since that Scorpion is easily able to block the webbing with his tail, Vulture manages to throw blades into him and Boomerang throws exploding boomerangs at him (technically shouldn’t they go back to Boomerang?). Spidey manages to web up all the villains rather quickly and easily and tells them that Smythe is using them and will take the weapons back when he gets what he wants which is the generators. Smythe is in the generator room and blows up a box which causes the power to go out, including letting the Lizard to escape. Smythe thinks that he has got a way out but he forgot one thing, which was the back-up generator. Spidey says that he got him to go on a fool’s errand since that the Raft has multiple back up sources. Smythe then tells Spidey that he knows that he can see him through his robots but Smythe can do the same and he also notices that the civilians are together and that Jameson is wandering the halls alone. Scorpion says that he wants revenge on Spidey for punching off his jaw but Smythe brings up that Jameson is a target and he goes off to go after Jameson. Vulture wanting to keep the tech heads off to the people in the bubble whilst Boomerang was given task of handling Spidey. Spidey is able to web Boomerang who tried to throw one of his bomb-a-rangs but it explodes in his face. Smythe then gives Spidey an ultimatum since that Scorpion is out for Jameson and Vulture is going for the others in the bubble. But Spidey doesn’t choose either to go after and goes after Smythe instead stating that he has only one thing to do, slat the Spider-Slayer ending part two.

Part three opens with a flash back of Spider-Man looking over the dying body of Otto Octavius and Spidey narrating about what he has done and what he has become. He then starts swinging through the corridor of the Raft saying that Smythe is the one that dies today. superior-spiderman3Smythe says that he is not out to kill Spidey but he just wants his freedom. He comes up with another chance by asking him to drop the defences and he will halt the attacks. Spidey replies saying that there is only one way that Smythe is leaving and that is in a body bag and they engage in a fight with Smythe saying ‘To the death’.

Meanwhile with the civilians they see that the Vulture is there and that he has some tech that can help pinpoint the weaknesses where he can disable the force field and attacks the points with his feathers. The clergyman that is with them tries to come to his scenes but that fails. Norah asks if that this is the legacy that he wants to have for his family and he replies that it is too late to change that. Miss Grant then asks if he could help them and turn a story into a man overcoming his past history, but Smythe’s lawyer ups it even more by saying that he can get him acquitted since that his entire defence for Smythe was due to the technology causing mental impairment. The Vulture contemplates his offer whist Shipley whispers to a guard saying to shoot him once the force field goes down. Elsewhere in the Raft Scorpion has found Jameson who blasts a few shots at Scorpion but to little effect. Scorpion goes to hit Jameson with his stinger but it manages to be blocked by an unlikely ally that being The Lizard. Scorpion tells the dumb monster to get out of his way but Lizard replies saying that he is not a monster and that he is Curtis Connors and he will never let the monsters win again. Jameson tries to get away but is stopped by Scorpion, then we see that the force field dissipating.

Spidey rips off one of the tendrils off Smythe’s suit and then says that Spidey has the upper hand and he surrenders and starts to negotiate with him to start saving the lives of the others in the Raft. But Spidey replies that Smythe had been locked up for far too long and that things have changed but he did have an opening offer when he stabs Smythe with the tendril. He goes on to day that he didn’t want to kill him but he was left with no choices, there were innocent lives in danger with Smythe’s robots and enhanced being around and that he didn’t trust him to disarm them and that permanently shutting them down was the only solution to save them.

Back with Scorpion, Lizard and Jameson, Scorpion says that he can still get to Jameson whilst fighting Lizard with the upgrades. But then Scorpion realises that something is wrong and the enhancements start to shatter and fall off him. Lizard notes that the enhancements have failed and that he needs medical attentions, Jameson agrees and he and Lizard walks away from him. Boomerang, who is not actually dead, is webbed back up by a passing Spidey. Then back with the civilians Vultures enhancements fail and he is now back to being blind and Shipley and the guards shock him. Shipley then notices that Lizard is standing behind Jameson telling him to hold his fire with Shipley saying that he is a killer. Jameson retorts saying that the Lizard is a killer but he has the mind of Curt Connors and that he saved his life. Spidey interrupts them saying that the situation is under control and that he is going to get the doors open so that they can get out. Back up top Jameson says that it is an outrage that since that Connors is in control but Shipley couldn’t care, Lizard says that it is all right and that it is okay to be cautious.  Jameson goes up to Spidey asking if Smythe was dead and he notices a Mini-Slayer coming out of a vent and then a Smythe coming out of a vent and he attacks the people including Lizard, saying that his body is dead and his consciousness will soon follow. He stabs Shipley with a tendril and Spidey starts webbing him up and Spidey knocks him into the river. Smythe wanted Spidey to do that so that he can transfer his consciousness but it doesn’t appear to be working and the reason why is that Spidey has a metal plate on the back of his head. Smythe had been planning this for months and the reason why Spidey knows what he was going to so and revealed to him that he is in fact Otto Octavius. Spidey calls him an imbecile since that his final act as the Spider Slayer and he wasn’t beaten by his true enemy.

Spidey brings Smythe’s corpse back up and Norah asks if he is dead and Spidey replies that he is, but unfortunately Shipley died and Jameson says that he died bravely and that helping the Rafts last break out and it is a legacy that man would honour. Spidey says that it’s true what we leave behind is something we each determine.  On the way back to the mainland Spidey takes Jameson aside and saying that he has an idea on what to do with the Raft instead of destroying it. Spidey’s plan is that he wants to turn it into his personal superhero headquarters. Jameson if against the idea but Spidey shows him a hologram of the complete recording that they had in the Raft when he told Spidey to kill Smythe. If Jameson didn’t give him what he wanted, he would release the footage to the media and have him incriminated. At the press conference Jameson informs the press that Spider-Man is going to be given the Raft and that it will now be renamed Spider Island Two. In the final page Otto narrates saying that his is no longer bound by Peter’s past life and is creating something new and wonderful. He is on the phone and we discover that he is hiring seventy ex-military men from somewhere and that he will have uniforms for them and he goes back on to working on a giant metal mech and that is how the issue ends.

Overall I do like this part of the Superior Spider-Man series. Dan Slott does a brilliant job in writing this series since that he has been writing Spider-Man for a while. I like the way that he writes Peter and Spidey since that they both have a darker tone to them since that it’s not hero but a villain it works really well. The artwork throughout is really good as well and the designs for Vulture, Scorpion and Boomerang’s enhanced form do bring out the elements of what there characters are.

The rest of the series is handled rather well and maybe in the next few months I may do a few more reviews since that the Superior Spider-Man series is rather interesting.

Top Five Worst Films of 2016

So last year I saw a lot of really bad movies and I get the feeling that this year that it could easily be the same.

5: The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do the Time Warp Again: So I watched this a few days ago and I got to say I was rather disappointed about this since that it was not really as good as the original and that is probably due to the amount of changes that they did to it. I’m not against films adapting the original material but this is one of the times where it is done rather badly. rhpsldtwaI didn’t have that much of a problem with the casting for the film and actually having a transsexual for Dr Frank-n-Furter was a good way to adapt it for modern audiences. Other than that I thought it was rather boring. One of the main things that really bothered me about it was the opening song that in the original was done just with a set of red lips on a background but with this it was an actual person that sings the opening number whilst handing taking ticket stubs, serving customers and ushering them as the film starts in the cinema. I think that it was rather stupid that they did this but that is my opinion. I would rather watch the original.

4: Suicide Squad: Out of all the films on this list this is the one that I liked the most since that it seemed that it was more similar to what the Suicide Squad was like in the comics, but taking out the ARGUS soldiers, but they were there mainly for the plot. My problems with the film come from a few places, the first was that I found that Jared Leto to have had one of the worst portrayal of the Joker and that he was pretty much could have just been a cameo character like Flash and Batman were instead of being a really loose thread. susqThe second problem that I had was with the design for Harley Quinn, it was a really bad costume and I do think that I call bull when I heard apparently that all the outfit choices that Margot Robbie had for the character didn’t look right. The weird thing that I found was that a few months later when DC did the relaunch for their comic book series and that the Harley Quinn there looks a lot better in that then she did in the film. The cast over all I thought was okay and that there dynamic was rather okay but I think that it was rather overkill since that there were way too many people to actually identify with and I think that this is going to be a problem with future superhero movies. The villains of the film seemed to be rather boring and their backstory is pretty much none existent in the film. Hopefully the sequel will be handled better.

3: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows: I had some hopes for this film when I went to see this but in the end it was a rather disappointment since that it had a lot of problems like the first film had. The first main problem with this is the casting, you have Stephen Amell playing the role of Casey Jones which I thought it was going to be cool however this ended up being rather disappointing, a lot like the fourth season of Arrow. It didn’t really seem like the Casey Jones that fans know since that Casey was a vigilante that wanted to take down the gangs that worked well with Raphael. tmnt2But in this film I don’t think that he and Raph even have any scenes together and that you only see Casey with his iconic mask only once through the entire film. It seems to be a rather waste of bringing in a good character. The second thing that does ruin the film is that during the very beginning of the film you have Shredder escaping and helped out by Kraang, who gives us a large exposition dump instead of padding in throughout the film which did make the film rather weak with story. The third problems that I had with the film was the ending for the fact that it seemed to be incredibly rushed. You have Kraang bringing in the Technodrome from Dimension X but we aren’t able to see it in all of its glory since that the Turtles manage to send it back. Also I found it rather stupid and curious that Kraang double crossed Shredder when he froze him and added him to his collection of other frozen playthings. The third problem I had with the ending was that they changed the design for the Man-droid suit that Kraang wears since that in the trailer for it the costume looks the same that of the original yet when the film came out it showed that the Man-droid without its head cover. Hopefully in the next few years they will remake the series since that with the bad box office outcome and reviews made sure that a sequel wouldn’t happen.

2: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice: This is one of the worst superhero films that I could have seen since that this was really handled rather badly. I found it to be rather dull and long winded of a film since that a lot of the elements that didn’t work well with it. My first problem is that Superman seemed to be a non-entity in this films since that it appeared to be more focused on either Lex Luthor or Bruce Wayne returning to the mantel of Batman, if the writers even cared about a film called Batman vs. Superman there should have been more scenes for Superman as well.BvSDoJ The second problem was the dream sequences that Batman had, in the long run they didn’t make much sense for the film since that there was no explanation to why he was having them and that they really didn’t accumulate for the story and seemed to be more setting up for Justice League and whatever is to come afterwards. These scenes could have easily been taken out of the film and the only problem that there would have been would be the shortened run time. The third problem that I have with the film is that Luthor and Doomsday are some of the weaker villains for the film. I am not a really big fan of the acting of Jessie Eisenberg and that the origins for Doomsday was the worst idea that they ever came up for since that Doomsday was meant to be a Kryptoinan monster and not a hybrid unlike the villain for Superman 4. I think that I would have liked this film a lot better if they did sort of went down the way that Marvel did their films and that was to have the one shots first and then a joint film. So since that we already have Man of Steel in the books it should have then been a Wonder Woman and Batman film to then build up on their lore, which we will be getting later this year and in few more for Batman, then have the joint film of Trinity that way you then have a reasoning for bringing in multiple characters to take down a large threat. But unfortunately only in a perfect world that could happen.

1: Blair Witch: I was rather confused and disappointed about this film and even more than Batman vs. Superman which could surprise a lot of my friends. The start of the film a film student and her friend are watching a video that was given to him of somebody going through a dark house saying that he spotted his sister in the footage. The sister in the footage was that of the original people that went to track the footage of the Blair Witch from the first film. They decided to head to the woods with two more of their friends and meet up with people that found the footage who ask if they can go with them to help find the Blair Witch.blair-witch After a long time, they get lost in the woods and they try to find a way back to a foot path or trail but no luck there and they then manage stumble on the Blair Witch house where inside they discover that the witch is there and I got to say from the scenes that we see of the witch it was really bad and it would have been a lot better if they used an actual person for the witch instead of CGI. The ending was confusing as all hell since that apparently the footage that we see at the beginning of the film was the footage that was captured with our main character. It really made no sense but at least that this film was a lot better than the second Blair Witch film that featured wiccans and really weird scenes. The acting was rather mixed at best and it seemed that they were also just college students that were making a film on a high budget since that they even used Go-Pro camera’s as well as having a drone that also gets caught in a tree. However, like I said with the design for the Blair Witch is that the special effects that they are rather bad and boring. I think from a camerawork standpoint this is a lot better than the original film, but it was pretty much the same film but on a bigger budget.
